Moving to Ireland!

Most of you will probably know by now that I've been going out with Emily for the past two-and-a-half years, and during that time have spent a significant proportion of my life in airport departure lounges, on aeroplanes and in baggage reclaim halls. The latter usually worrying whether my bags managed to make it onto the same plane as I did (which
they have done on all but one occasion!)

If you hadn't twigged yet, Emily is Irish.

Believe me when I say that that is more than enough for one person, or indeed two people (when Ems does the return leg) in any amount of time. Plus, it is extremely frustrating only seeing your girlfriend for two-and-a-half days out of every 14.

Something had to change. And it is finally changing!! After six months of waiting for my own firm to sort its act out and grant me a secondment, I finally gave up hope and started looking around. And, as luck would have it, I've got myself a job, doing exactly what I do now, with the opposition, over in Cork!

So after an exceptionally stressful and annoying 6 months, I'm now facing into an incredibly stressful six weeks of packing up all my stuff, and moving to Ireland.

Fun fun fun! This blog will be updated with bits and pieces of information as I find it, do it or lose it, but at the moment we are looking at various flats in and around Cork!

My friends at the moment are:
